Keeps 'em updated automatically, so fewer issues about security from running outdated Adobe software.

Folks, a good extension for Chrome is "Flash Control". Keeps flash-based ads from running automatically. Turns out flash-based advertising is a vector for malware attacks these days. People have even gotten infections from the ads that show up on the side of of even major sites like MSN.COM, NYT.COM, etc. It's called "Malvertising". You don't even have to click on the ads; if they display, that's enough to get an infection. If you don't use Chrome, make sure your Flash and Adobe Reader have the latest updates installed. You can also get flash blockers for Firefox. Pretty easy to work with, if you actually want to watch something in Flash, just click on the item and it will play.Unforgivennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2761684730989137546.post-48353077587658866702012-03-29T14:40:03.332-04:002012-03-29T14:40:03.332-04:00Thanks for the feedback all!

My concern was that the first page was blank...THAT would lose someone like me who couldn't be bothered to page down. Fortunately most ppl aren't like me. I will test in other browsers though.

And I definitely agree re: SBE. It's really overrated since most ppl won't have a clue what it means unless you're well-versed in the subject matter. It will get 86d since it's nothing more than showing off. I think some catchy tagline is much more effective. I grabbed Mosler's line about taxes, but it could say anything given it's just an image I created in MS Paint.

What I will do is post the HTML code here and where to make modifications (want to test changing background colors with Matt's link first). It is SUPER easy to customize if anyone wants to use...changing image, links, fonts, etc.Trixienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2761684730989137546.post-45708601949068409922012-03-29T12:07:23.975-04:002012-03-29T12:07:23.975-04:00Great job on the blog, Trixie! I like it!

I think linking to 7DIF is great, but going straight to a PDF might cause some people to click 'cancel' since most browsers throw up a file open/save dialog for PDFs. But the 7DIF blog post has extra baggage too so I'm not sure that's ideal either... I wonder if a custom landing page/gateway page on the way to 7DIF might be ideal. Not sure.

Also you could consider two variations -- one with the top half included and one without -- as certain audiences might benefit from the sectoral balances equation while other audiences might be intimidated by it. Just a thought, feel free to disagree.hblhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03192933210484147113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2761684730989137546.post-55611317498523369692012-03-29T05:51:20.220-04:002012-03-29T05:51:20.220-04:00hey Trix here is a link to a html color chart if y...hey Trix here is a link to a html color chart if you want to change from the puke green:

http://immigration-usa.com/html_colors.html

resp,Matt Frankohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11978352335097260145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2761684730989137546.post-78817106337453128842012-03-29T05:45:28.585-04:002012-03-29T05:45:28.585-04:00Trix,

Perhaps including the sectoral balances equation? With say links to 7DIF or your own tutorials? Like an MMT badge of sorts for blogs...would that be difficult? I'm thinking something like this:

http://www.ourfiscalfuture.org/debt-clock-widget-available/Trixienoreply@blogger.com
