I remember an American doctor talking about herbs on youtube where he said 'erbs'. So I looked it up and Americans make the H silent, but we British pronounce it.

But it's not really surprising considering his orange, rectangular head is mostly empty space inside -- very much like the nothingness that is between the distance of a nucleus of an atom and its electrons.
