The very name of the law itself—the Homeland Battlefield Bill—suggests the totalitarian credo of endless war waged against enemies within “the homeland” as well as those abroad.truthdig
Criminalizing Dissent
Chris Hedges
What is taking place now as the no so hidden agenda is massive intimidation of those who would effectively express dissent against the ruling elite and the government they control through state capture.

Thanks John, fixed now.
Criminalizing dissent is not possible if private property rights are held as absolute.
Another way of saying the same thing: The ability to engage in dissent presupposes private property rights.
If you want to be able to dissent against others, then you must be able to escape to your private property and defend yourself from any aggression from those who disagree with you (if their disagreement is going to be manifested violently).
It's funny watching Tom diss absolute private property rights, but then defend dissent and cry foul when dissent is criminalized.
Not worth responding to, Major Freedom.
