Rafael Cruz: LGBT rights and evolution are communist brainwashing lies to kill God (via Raw Story )
Rafael Cruz, the father of tea party-backed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), has warned Americans that equal rights for LGBT people and the theory of evolution are essentially communist lies that are being used by the American government to destroy the family…
Govt by simply providing balances of the state currency in sufficient amounts to facilitate all desired human exchange and savings cannot be construed as "govt trying to control our lives"... of course these zealots cannot see that this is what is really happening....
ReplyDeleteAND they are homophobes who methinks they probably doth protesteth too much....
rsp,
I came from a monkey? I thought I came from some sort of fish with legs or a chemical gloop or something. Damn, a monkey. What a downer.
ReplyDeleteApparently Cruz makes a living from this sort of stage play?
ReplyDeleteThe ignorant and their money are soon parted.

ReplyDeletePaul to the ecclesia in Corinth:
"...for us there is one God, the Father, out of Whom all is, and we for Him, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through Whom all is, and we through Him. 7 But not in all is there this knowledge." 1 Cor 8
Cruz & Co. should not be surprised that Theories like Darwin's Evolution would be extant... or think it some sort of "nefarious evil plot" or something.
These 'gospelizers' actions here are vain at core imo... not subject to the word of God.
rsp,
"I came from a monkey?"
ReplyDeleteThis is a common misrepresentation of evolution…nowhere does it say Man ascended from Apes…we are just related.
±99% of our DNA is shared.
I'm uncomfortable mocking relatives of public figures especially when they appear to suffer from mental illness.
ReplyDeleteTed is his own man and responsible for his own crazy views. If Ted suffers from a similar condition, then his own medical condition is of course relevant. We all have crazy relatives but that doesn't mean we agree with them.
I don't see how this helps Ted Cruz. Moreover, he should be asked to what degree he agrees or disagrees with his father's opinions. After all, he did participate in the "anointing." This is not like some crazy uncle ranting in the attic. Raphael Cruz is strongly promoting his son with a particular Evangelical constituency.
