Defend Democracy Press — Nestle CEO: Water Is Not A Human Right, Should Be Privatized
There was once a boycott on Nestlé in Europe because they promoted baby powdered milk in third world hospitals and gave it away for free. Mothers believed it was better for their babies than breast milk because that's how Nestlé marketed it, but this caused their own milk to dry up. When the mothers left the hospitals they couldn't afford it so they watered the milk down and their babies suffered terrible malnutrition. No one could stop Nestlé doing this practice. Psychopathic or what?
