Its not "paper money"....
Bitcoin is really useful and should be encouraged.
Because if you can persuade people to store their loot in Bitcoin you automatically end up with a balanced budget in US dollars and consequently no need to issue Treasuries.

There is no way that an enthusiast fuelled bubble like bitcoin is a good idea.
We MMTers more than anyone should know how flawed the bitcoin concept is.
The hoarders want a hoard. Let them have one. Then hoarders take a bath, not the rest of us.
If Bitcoin doesn't take your fancy there are plenty of others - all of which promise a finite money supply individually. Collectively that is a fallacy of composition of course, but you can't tell 'em.
I'm glad said that. I looked into it and they were far too expensive for me.
