Trump and Putin are likely to discuss the tricky situation in southern Syria when they meet; while the US president says he wants US forces back home, the CIA, Pentagon and Israel may be happier to see them stay so the war-torn state remains unstable.Obama could not bring the US deep state under control. We'll see if Trump can, or wants to.

“Obama could not bring the US deep state under control”
ReplyDeleteUmmm, yo he gave the orders...
Regarding that article in the Unz Review:
ReplyDelete“Martyanov’s book will outrage those for whom the US narcissistic culture of axiomatic superiority has become an integral part of their identity.”
Americans, like Israelis, are hopelessly arrogant. Both are “God’s chosen people.” Both nations are cowards who only attack small and defenseless targets. (Jews bravely bomb and shoot half-starved Palestinians in the Gaza Death Camp, whereas Americans bravely attack hospitals, plus wedding and funeral processions) Both have no chance against real enemies. (The Jews were twice stomped by Hezbollah, and consequently ordered their US and European bitches to designate Hezbollah a “terrorist group.”)
“Martyanov names the real enemy of both the Russian and the American people – the US political elites and, especially, the Neocons: they are destroying the US as a country and they are putting all of mankind at risk of nuclear annihilation.”
The elites and the neocons have been helped in destroying the USA. Bankers helped. Warmongers helped (e.g. John McCain). Worshipers of Trump helped (e.g. Natt Phranko). Every enemy of straight white males helped (e.g. Jews, feminists, “gay rights” cretins, “trans rights” mutants, Israel-first evangelicals, etc.). Most Americans helped. Most Americans are slaves who live in a dream world.
Incidentally, one reader at the Unz blog proudly boasted that the USA killed 200 Russian mercenaries in an airstrike. This is typical American dementia. A team of Der Spiegel journalists discovered that only nine Russians were accidentally injured as U.S. aircraft bombed Syrian forces. The Russians were employed by the private mercenary company Evro Polis, and they were nowhere near combat. The incident happened at dawn on 8 Feb 2018 near Deir ez-Zor, Syria.

Ummm, yo he gave the orders...
ReplyDeleteEither Obama was just putting Kerry on when Kerry negotiated with the Russians on the behalf of the US and made commitments as US secretary of state, or else the military/CIA didn't follow orders and the president/commander-in-chief didn't fire or publicly reprimand anyone.
BO wasn't giving orders, he was taking them. When field commanders refused to follow his orders to 'work with Russian troops' there were no consequences.
ReplyDeleteNormal and required response under UCMJ for failure to obey a lawful order is court martial.
BO was not in charge.
Chickenhawk FRANKO is clueless.
Can I volunteer to take the whole thing over?
