    Doesn’t beat “Lawnchair Larry”, google it.

    Guy rigged his lawn chair with weather balloons and soared to 15,000 feet! Drifted near Long Beach airport and had to shoot some his weather balloons with his BB gun to descend. This was in the 80s I think. Crazy
