  1. Happy Birthday Mike!

    Knock 'em dead at 3:00!

    Resp,

ps Mike perhaps tell some producer to post some embedable video of your analysis at the FoxBusiness site and I can post/link it up here at the blog. For commentary.

  2. Happy birthday from me as well.

We need more people like you in the media who understand that stimulus efforts have been extremely underwhelming and that the deficit shouldn't be a concern right now. Almost everyone I see talks about the dangers of the debt. It's sickening.

Unfortunately, there's little room in the media discourse for nuanced, counter-intuitive perspectives.

  3. Happy Birthday Mike! Are we going to get some optimism from you? Looks to me like MMT is starting to get more traction. Lots more blogs and TV appearances for MMT'ers. Anyway, I hope we can get some video of your appearance somehow?. No TV here at work.

  5. FYI,here's another guy pushing back against the deficit terrorists. Economist James Galbraith debates Peter Schiff.

If only Schiff could understand how ignorant he sounds...

  7. Thank you Mike S. Peter Schiff's mug does not belong in the same zip code much less the same tv window. as Dr. Galbraith. What a buffoon.

  10. BTW, do national banks or ECB insure Euro depositors?

    ReplyDelete
  11. JC,
Warren M seems to state that no one does. He has stated that there is no credible deposit insurance in ECB zone as they have no fiscal authority like the US Treasury that can appropriate to the FDIC (if Congress is smart enough to realize it wont create "debt")....tomorrow should be interesting in the Eurozone.
