We only thought trolls lived under bridges...

Ever notice the seemingly endless hordes of commenting trolls who clutter comment sections? It turns out they might not even be people per se, just a multitude of virtual personas controlled by humans. Talk about nefarious. Need support for one's particular political or economic cause (for example:a return to the gold standard) but know that you don't have a large number of supporters? Simple solution: buy an army of cyber trolls.

  1. But I guess unions for instance would never resort to this.... just evil corporations, true?

  2. I think any entity with resources and motive could pull this off, unions included. However,I haven't noticed any union-endorsing trolls. The trolls seem to be mainly libertarian in nature.

  3. Livertarians are desperate enough.

They dig on democrats 90% of the time, then say they disagree wit both dems and reps, and then only trolls against republicans when they want to appear as the righteous of the right wingers.

We are on a partial gold standard - it comes and goes when needed - dynamically active via the market.

It's the result of austrian mentality that we need it and that we have to balance budgets.

The only presidents to reduce spending into negative % rates are Carter and Clinton.

Bush I > war > shut down government to pay for it.

Bush II > war > shut down government to pay for it.

Livertarians say they are against war but they cannot relate the shut downs to war and war pigs.

  4. More nonsense. Have you ever listened to Ron Paul at all? He is one of the most anti-war reps in Congress.
