Stocks will fall lower, for the 'buy and hold' investors IMO it's not the time to enter the markets, with a global slowdown and recession in Europe hitting this autumn there will be plenty of buy cheap opportunities.
However if you play on the markets usually this volatility can be great on both sides, short and long if you read into the fear right.
But I would still say to be cautious and stay mostly liquid.
