Ugo Bardi — The next ten billion years
Thinking big. Two scenarios by a professor of physical chemistry.
The Green planets are now the place of evolution tests and the Neanderthals now live on Mars, whereas dinosaurs have been recreated on a Venus where the planetary control system has recreated conditions similar to those of the Jurassic on Earth.
I don't know how you do this on planets with no magnetosphere. IIRC, when the Earth's magnetosphere has taken leave of the planet, we've had enormous die-offs. Maybe you could have tardigrades and other species notorious for not giving a ____ about things that kill everyone else, but dinosaurs?
That was pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteThe "New Intelligence" and "Galactic Intelligence" remind me of the anti-Xeelee from Stephen Baxter's Xeelee Sequence.
Any other nerds here know what I'm talking about?
