This is what happens when a non-mathematical person tries to apply mathematics. One last pre-election day story piling on the bullshit at CNS news by Terry Jeffrey who has been somewhat prolific lately in spewing disgraceful, inane, meaningless and mis-applied figures related to our national savings... they must be looking for a subsidy from the Peterson Foundation's honey bucket.
If Americans under the age of 18 were required as a group to pay off the entirety of the federal government’s debt in equal shares, each would now need to pay about $218,676.Somebody learned simple division in math class! The real skill comes in when deciding how to apply mathematical operations Terry/CNS News.
Tip for Jeffery here: Where could these young people possibly "get the money" to even be able to "pay off the federal government's debt" in the first place? You obviously do not understand the operations of our monetary system and federal Treasury.
Forget it, Matt. You're gonna give yourself a stroke. It's total mind numbing stupidity.
ReplyDeleteLets calculate the debt per persons in the US born on Nov. 6...it must be staggering.
