Warren Buffett: Jamie Dimon Is Best Person For Treasury Secretary
I suspect that if Dimon wants the job, he will get it. After Hank Paulson's "experience," I'm not sure he would want it. It can be a reputation-killer, and if Dimon is anything, it is vain.
I think Obama is going to appoint Lew and that he is having his friend Buffet float the Dimon trial balloon so that when Lew is named progressives just say, "Whew!" and Obama picks up free points from the left.
After listening to Durbin today I wouldn't be surprised at anything coming out of Illinois politicians. Tom has a decent chance on being right on this one.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLiving on the outskirts of London just heard a big banh can someone check to see it wasnt Max Keiser exploding?
ReplyDeleteYou're freaking kidding me? Why not nominate Hannibal Lecter for Attorney General at the same time?
ReplyDeleteBuffet's nuts on this call.
ReplyDeleteObama will give the job to his current Chief of Staff, Jack Lew. (Not muc better, but at least without the monumental arrogance of Dimon.)
Yep, no way Dimon gets the nod. He's Love Canal toxic.

ReplyDeleteDan, the fly in that ointment is that the Dimon ballon has been floating for some time. In fact, his name has been most prominent so far.
