Interview with Jens Weidmann, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank
Why the euro is doomed, or else Europe will implode politically. Yep, it's the inflation-phobic Germans.
To paraphrase Weidmann, (with a few liberties) the German system is superior and everyone should copy it. The German politicians have a stronger , smarter fiber and were able to make complex, tough decisions compared to the weaker nations in the European union. The steadfast German workers and unions work together and sacrifice for the greater good while the others are misguided and must be taught a lesson. Germans must maintain strict rules to keep the others from corrupting the system.
