For too long Portland's budget has benefited big business and the wealthy at the expense of the vast majority.

  1. The message needs to get out to the public that corporations do not create jobs...they merely chase money and have to provide goods and services to win it.

    There's no reason to cut their taxes, or the taxes on distributions and dividends at the expense of everyone else...to create an environment they can thrive in...as long as there is money to win they can thrive.

    The race to the bottom by communities to encourage companies to do what they must do anyway is self-destructive.
