(Ed: FD, I'm on 'Team Human"...)
Fireworks erupting within the GOP between the chaos fomenting libertarians and the others. Story at the Washington Times:
“I’m on team Rand,” she said on Fox News Saturday. “Rand Paul understands. He gets the whole notion of don't-tread-on-me government. Whereas Chris Christie is for big government and trying to go-along-to-get-along in so many respects.”
No, ya know he’s got a shtick going there where he’s got a YouTube videographer following him around, kind of these set up situations sometimes so he can be seen as perhaps going rogue,” she said. “But Chris Christie’s for more government and his record proves that, whereas Rand Paul with that healthy libertarian streak that we need more of, in our politicians, team Rand Paul.”She's wrong imo in asserting that Christie's actions are not "rogue". Libertarian moronism has become so entrenched in the contemporary GOP that when a politician like Christie proposes or takes action that in any way seems "authoritarian" these days, it has to be truly looked at as "rogue activity" in reality.
I have to root for Christie in this battle though even he still doesn't get it 100%.
Any body want to bet the over under on the number of times youll see Rand Paul appear WITH Sarah Palin before the 2016 primaries? He's a moron but he knows a bigger moron when he sees it.
ReplyDeleteIll set the over under at 1. He'll do one appearance with her early (maybe within next 6-8 months) just to pick off a few of her loyal followers. Then he will politely tell her "Stay the hell away from me!!"
Right Greg it seems like she here is trying to glom on to HIM... rsp
