Unfortunately, liberals and Progressives have given social justice a bad name thinking that shoddy socialism for the poor compensates for a government-backed counterfeiting cartel for the rich.

Germany continued to threaten the world with their Greek "crisis" ... for the pipeline in Syria.
Russia even wants the pipeline in Syria given Putin's move.
Merkel is going to get her pipeline from Qatar to Europe.

ReplyDeleteThat's already strongly implicit in Evangelium Gaudium. Francis did not alter traditional teaching as much as connect personal responsibility with individual behavior under conventions and institutions, implying that "everyone does it" is a childish excuse. Previously, the teaching had been more in terms of abstractions, allowing most people to shrug it off as "just the way it is and who am I to buck the tide."
