Obama believes in re-distribution rather than growth. His economic plan is to get everyone on SS, disability, and benefits, rather than lay the groundwork for more jobs and income growth. He raised the payroll tax which is the most regressive tax hike in recent memory.

Now, Obama is citing the Pope as a way to justify his dreadful policies.
The sooner he retires to that ESPN anchor job the better off this country will be.
This is purely political imo unless he couples it with a complete change of administration course on austerity and tells the Peterson people to go f themselves... rsp,
