Filthy rich but secretly terrified: Inside the 1 percent’s sore-winner backlash
Joan Walsh

Neoliberal capitalism is a rigged game. Based on its assumptions and norms, there is no way that it cannot be.

Time for a rethink before a tiny transnational elite owns everything and the workers of the world are fighting over scraps in a race to the bottom.

It doesn't have to be like this. There are alternatives, Mrs. Thatcher. Like participatory democracy instead of a rigged economic and political system that delivers for the top tier through cronyism and corruption.

  1. I totally disagree with Joan Walsh. These people are not scared. Why should they be? They control everything. They party in secret because it turns them on. They're depraved. #Eyeswideshut
