Yves Smith — Bitcoin is Not a Currency
The law is becoming clearer. Bitcoin is property rather than currency, which means that transactions are taxable. They are also traceable due to the protocol.
Exactly. Hopefully these developments will put an end to the hoopla, and Bitcoin can now fade away into obscurity.
