Noam Chomsky — The Death of American Universities
As universities move towards a corporate business model, precarity is being imposed by force.
Now that we've reached a low-point where a Phd can barely earn a living, maybe we can have a real discussion about the impact of outsourcing and temp workers on the rest of labor markets and society while avoiding the usual academic economic and business school regurgitated platitudes and dig instead into the underlying normative values being embraced.
