Jonathan Allen — Bernie Sanders's ideas are so popular that Hillary Clinton is running on them
I said "closet" neocon. HRC is responsible for Victoria Nuland, wife of neocon extraordinaire, still being in the State Department under a Democratic Administration. Prior to being Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs, Nuland was HRC's press secretary. HRC is in the neocon swamp up to her neck.
Oops. I left out the neocon extraordinaire's name. It's Robert Kagan, and Victoria Nuland is his co-conspirator in neoconservatism as US foreign policy. Surely HRC knew that and was buying into it. IF she didn't, then she is too stupid to be president, and HRC is not stupid.
Kristol, in addition to being a neoconservative ideologue, is a long time Republican Party activist, adviser and operative. He may be exaggerating the foreign policy differences to boost the campaigns of the people he works for.
Well, I just looked at Sanders's Agenda for America, and it looks to me like HRC is only running on about half of the 12 items.
ReplyDeleteConsidering she is a card-carrying neoliberal and closet neoconservative, that's progress, I guess.
ReplyDeleteTom every other tweet from Bill Kristol is a jab at Hillary. .. so how is she a "neo-con"?
ReplyDeleteShe has made pro Palestinian statements, etc...
She may have what t he far left terms "neo liberal" characteristics but those the far left term "neocon" hate her guts...

ReplyDeleteKagan recently wrote that Clinton is "one of us".
