A Buk rocket from Ukrainian military warehouses could not have been used to strike a Malaysia Airlines' Boeing passenger jet on the MH17 flight, which was shot down over Ukraine, says Ihor Smeshko, an advisor to the Ukrainian president.
"As far as I know, Ukraine sold its last Buk to Georgia," he told a security conference in Brussels on June 4.
The theory that a Buk rocket was taken from one the Ukrainian military warehouses seized by rebels is nonsense, he said....
