Trump on the "47%"
Interview with Trump from Hannity last week embedded below.
Trump specifically refers to Romney's famous "47%" remark from the last election as the fatal mistake that Romney made that ultimately caused him to lose the election.
Trump at some level at least knows that to win, a candidate must appeal (or at least not offend) to the socio-economic justice cohort of US voters.
Whether he agrees with this socio-economic justice cohort on principle I guess is still TBD, but this is at least evidence that he knows that this cohort must be accommodated and respected by a candidate who is serious about winning the election.
The exchange takes place right at the 5:00 mark... revealing.
"We have to pay out national debt" etc.
ReplyDeletemeh, more of the same
Well yes he doesn't understand govt fiscal authority BUT... its going to take a person with the mentality of Trump to say in effect 'F you we're not out of money!" to the morons once that person were to obtain that understanding. . ...

Trump says that unemployment "if you add it up, it's probably 40%" (21.10 minutes in).
ReplyDeleteHe's doubling down on Mexico: apparently Mexico's national social and crime solution policy is to send all its murderers and rapists to the United States.
He may be utterly shameless and a little weird, but you gotta love him when he says, in that matter of fact way he does, that all politicians are bought and paid for, and he knows because he does it himself!
