Just heard this news. Boehner is resigning from Congress at the end of October. Maybe the Pope got to him. He was crying nonstop yesterday. Maybe the Pope made him realize what a group of sadistic creeps he is the leader of and he doesn't want any part of it. If so, good for him. The question is, who will replace him? Another sadist?
Well, I guess the shutdown is definitely on again, and Boehner doesn't want to be any part of it.

ReplyDeleteWell Boehner is definitely a northern Catholic (after what we saw yesterday) and the shutdown people (defund Planned Butcherhood er, I mean Parenthood...) are mostly southern Evangelicals... different sects... might be part of a inter-sectarian squabble ...

Is there any reason at all to believe the reason for stepping down is NOT because he wants to cash in? I'd imagine Boehner's rolodex probably qualifies for some position in a bank somewhere....
