Zaid Jilani — Poll: More Democrats Now Favor Socialism Than Capitalism
I don't understand why the US Govt. prohibits employees from using social media, even in a personal capacity. When you become a government employee, you lose your right to political speech? Have you seen Stephanie Kelton's tweets? Like a different person. Everything from 2014, deleted. How can we have good governance when ideas must be suppressed to ensure they don't get out? No MMT policy gets made into law. Maybe she talks to interesting people in Washington and behind closed doors influences something, but why isn't it okay for policy arguments between politicians and bureaucrats to happen in public? This is what I hate about the two-party government. Disagreements aren't ok, rowdy or agreeable are handled privately and withing proper channels. China has more open, real debate over issues within one-party than US in two parties.
If the government wants to shut someone up, because they are dangerous, they take them, put them in government give them a title to feel important then tell them to hush.
