USD Zombie breakout reported in Argentina; 15B on the Z-scale, a pretty big one:
After Historic Singer Deal, #Argentina Eyes $15 Billion Bond Sale https://t.co/81UBJMGtRF via @business #bonds #latam #markets— Robert Burgess (@burgessansm) March 1, 2016
Looking ugly down there! Scary!!!!
Beware: neoliberals in charge!
ReplyDeleteTheir own incompetency will be limited through returning to USD-zombification of the economy and currency pegs which will implode down the line. Back to the 90's for Argentina...
The 15B are the small news, the big implication is the complete zombification of Argentina economy again issuing debt in currency they don't control to "access the bond markets" (aka seek USD balances) over the next years. So again they can start singing the "bond vigilante" song.
A complete disaster....
Mike is incompetence, they avoid having to competently rule by putting themselves at the mercy of foreign powers.
ReplyDeleteIs basically like Greece, complain all day about how evil Europe and Germany is but then vote for handouts, charity and not governing yourself by staying in the Europe.
At some point we have to start holding the electorate accountable for their own failure of holding people in charge accountable and keep voting idiots into office worldwide if we have "democracies"...
