One quibble with the video: apparently the most recent archaeological evidence is that civilization did not start off in modern day Iraq. It started slightly earlier in modern day Romania, although it didn't last long. The Mesopotamian civilizations developed independently not long after, survived and the rest is history, or rather the birth of the world we see today.
