Intel Today — Roger Waters : “White Helmets Is A Fake Organization That Creates Propaganda for Jihadists and Terrorists”
“The White Helmets” (2016) won the 2017 Academy Award for Best “Documentary,” Short Subject.
No one sincerely believes that this “documentary” was truthful. I mean seriously, the Academy gave an Oscar to a film that honors a bloodthirsty terrorist organization? Wow.
The 2017 awards ceremony set a new low for TV audience share.
Anyway I was curious to see if the Academy continued its plunge into irrelevance by giving the 2018 Oscar for Best Documentary to “Last Men in Aleppo,” which told more lies about the “white helmets.”
Instead, the 2018 the Academy Awards took a different line of bullshit, and gave the documentary Oscar to “Icarus” (2017) which absurdly vilified all Russians (especially athletes) as dope fiends.
The 2018 awards ceremony set another new low for TV audience share. If this trend keeps going, then by 2020 there will be no TV audience at all for the Academy Awards.
Quite a find, Tom, I sent it to George Monbiot. I told him the real news is spreading.

That will make me happy.
