  1. Meanwhile house REPs have filed a criminal referral with the DOJ against Clinton, Comey, Lynch and others in news that has been completely ignored by NYT / WaPo / etc.

  3. Democratic National Committee vs. The Russian Federation, Wikileaks, Julian Assange, Donald Trump, Jr. and Roger Stone, Jr. inter alia

Check out paragraph 177. THEY ALL CONSPIRED TOGETHER. Don Jr., Roger Stone, Julian Assange and the Russia government. You know it's true, right?

  4. Loony. — unless it is purely political, of course.

  5. It's not purely political as it is being used to advance other agendas. Reps and DEMs both work for the same people, and it isn't us.

Politics is about gaining and wielding power. The objective of gaining power is to wield it.

So that you mention is also political, but in a somewhat different way.

One way is oriented to gaining power when you are out and maintaining when you are in. Another way is oriented to wielding power. One holds power when in but then the opposition does its best to prevent one from using it as desired.

Right. Geopolitics is obviously not about gaining power through elections.

Domestic "politics" in liberal democracies is about competing factions in elections. But there are also other dimensions of politics related to power operative domestically, and liberal democracy is not the only form of government.

Where power affects or controls relationships, there is always "politics," even in families. Politics is about the dynamics of power.

Geopolitics is about gaining, maintaining and extending power.

Therefore, politics in the broad sense is integral to dialectical logic, which is based on oppositional forces and complementarity.
