Publius Tacitus — America's Russia Derangement Syndrome

Things to keep in mind as the world prepares for the Trump-Putin summit in Helsinki.

  1. Republicans and Democrats are dismayed by Trump's comments today at his joint press conference with Russian Vladimir Putin.

Trump infuriated the corporate media outlets by repeatedly dismissing the Russia-gate hoax.

    Mitt Romney called Trump “disgusting.”

So did John McCain, who is dying at home in rural Arizona.

    (Jeezus…just DIE already!)

  2. Trump spent the last week pwning the UK leadership, the European leadership and the US establishment. They still can't believe it and are acting like HRC in losing the election to Trump. He has driven them all insane.

    ROFLMAO!

  3. I should add that when people go insane, they start making stupid mistakes.

  4. Bernie Sanders is "all in" with Russia-gate.

Today he called Trump "pathetic" for "caving in" to a "former KGB leader" (Putin) who "hacked" the DNC's computers.

Sanders accuses Putin of having exposed the FACT that the corrupt DNC rigged the primaries against Sanders.

We should be grateful for the DNC's corruption. If the DNC had not rigged the primaries, then Sanders would be president now. We would have a senile geezer in the White House.

  5. There two monster problem with the progressives.

First, they know nothing about material system or economics-finance from the MMT POV, and they don't seem to want to know. They assume visions will magically actualize if they are in power.

Secondly, they are worse than clueless about foreign policy, and if in power, the US deep state would led them around by the nose.

    Worthless.

  6. Everyone is panting so hard for nuclear war that #Treason, #TreasonSummit and #ImpeachTrump were three of the top trending subjects today in Twitter.

@ Tom Hickey: Another problem with progressives is that they can't get anything done, since they are are too busy praising each other for their "moral superiority."

They live and die in poverty, while smugly congratulating themselves for being morally "right."

Tom, your president is the laughing stock world. Day in, day out, he's just winging it as was evidenced today in Helsinki. Damn, he didn't even pretend to put up a fight -- just sucked up to Putin like there was no tomorrow. Sorry, but there's most likely a "pee tape" ;)

And, before I forget, it takes a special kind of fool who cries that the establishment is out to get him yet keeps hiring only establishment types. Fool or just simply deranged. One or the other :)

  8. The Donald and Volodya got along splendidly and worked some deals that we will only know of after the fact, since the Establishment will try to scuttle them.

Basically, they agreed to end Cold War 2.0, as will become evident down the line.

Brilliant move on DJT's part to shut them out of the meeting.

While the rest of the world is getting their undies all tangled up over this, the world is moving on, quickly.

  9. Talk about fools.

On July 11, Greece announced that it would expel two Russian diplomats and bar the entry of two others, in honor of the Skripal “poisoning” hoax.

Greece and Russia have signed over 50 treaties and agreements. The Greek people’s positive attitude towards Russia is well known. Russian ambassador to Athens Andrey Maslov has recently described Greece "as a reliable partner". More than a million Russian tourists are expected to visit Greece this year. Greece is one of the few NATO members to have Russian weapons in the armed forces’ inventory, including S-300 air defense systems.

But now Greece is trash-talking Russia in service to the Troika, which despises Greece.

    Losers.
