  1. “I would like you to look at the substance of the report like an intel analyst would. You should start by asking key questions--does the information ring true? Do the sources have the access they claim? Next, you look for corroborating evidence. Are there other reports that have made similar claims?“

But all those people are Art Degree people who start with the Theory FIRST..... then look for a situation where it applies....

  6. “TEACHING & LEARNING METHODS

Wharton classes focus on hands-on problem solving, using teaching methods such as case studies, negotiations, group work, and simulations in addition to traditional lectures. Students learn by starting with a problem or concrete example. After fully understanding the problem, they look for solutions and then begin to examine theories to see how they might apply.

In a liberal arts setting, students often learn by starting with a theory or abstract idea. After fully understanding the theory, they then look for problems to understand how the theory applies.”

I’m not making this up.... why would I make it up?

  7. Did you read the whole article?

This was not a deduction. It was a set up. They made it all up. PT shows the evidence.

  8. You're wasting your time Tom. You can't argue with stupid. Franko's cup is overfilled ... with Franko.

  9. It’s just a competing theory Tom... sounds plausible but he (and we) don’t have access to the unredacted information...

Without data it becomes “theory first”... circumstantial at best...

  10. Why don’t they just look at the data?

    Art degree people at work...

Ft Meade has a record of the “about” queries as system admin ... did they take down kellyanne’s conversations? Reince preibus?

If they did then they all should be hung on a cross and we all can get back to business..

  11. I've got to depart from you on this one, Tom. I firmly believe the Steele dossier is an excellent intelligence report. I suspect PT voted for Trump and is engaging in confirmation bias. He can't bear to think he voted for a traitor.

  12. Why don’t they just look at the data?

That are looking at the data that is publicly available and finding it wanting as sufficient to substantiate the claims based on it.

The government has presented no factual evidence, only allegations, some in the form of indictments, but indictments don't provide evidence.

So the public is being fed a story based on "trust us" from the same agencies that lied about Iraq and a host of other things.

And it is un-American to contest the intel agencies whose business it is to lie when expedient.

  13. IF there were evidence it would have surfaced and the president or his associates would be indicted and tried in a US court.

None of the Americans indicted so far have been indicted for crimes directly related to Trumpgate or Russiagate, and the Russians indicted will never be tried in the US so the evidence will never be produced, and US intel knows this. The Russian woman recently indicted for not registering as a foreign agent has not been connected with Russiagate so far but rather "lobbying without a license" — and she is a member of the Russian opposition to Putin to boot.

Does anyone really think that a paper trail will ever be established to any money that went to the NRA going to Putin. Not any more than any particular "donation" to the Clinton Foundation to a Clinton-owned private account. No one is stupid enough to associate quid pro quo to donations and contributions. It's all wink-wink, which is perfectly legal in the US.

  14. Michael Weiss is Consulting Executive Editor at Coda Story and the founder of The Interpreter, an online journal dedicated to translating and analyzing news and social media from Russia and Ukraine. He is the co-author of the New York Times bestseller “ISIS: Inside the Army of Terror” and “The Menace of Unreality: How the Kremlin Weaponizes Information, Culture and Money.” @michaelweiss

Catherine A. Fitzpatrick is a senior Russian translator and analyst for The Interpreter. Previously she worked as an editor of weeklies on Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan for EurasiaNet.org and was also editor at RFE/RL’s (Un)Civil Societies and Media Matters. She has been involved in the international human rights movement for many years, serving as staff or consultant to a number of non-profit organizations and has translated numerous books from Russian into English, including the memoirs of Boris Yeltsin, Edward Shevardnadze and Vladimir Putin.

You have to be kidding. Do you know the history of these people?

And The Interpreter was originally founded and funded by Mikhail Khodorkovsky. Now it is a subsidiary of the Institute of Modern Russia, which president is Khodorkovsy's son, Pavel. And Paul Weiss is editor-in-chief of The Interpreter.

Doesn't get more biased anti-Putin than this.

Moreover, Mikhail Khodorkovsky is the US's Russian Ahmed Chalabi.

  15. Russia-gaters claim that Russia installed Trump by “hacking” the DNC’s “computer,” thereby exposing DNC evil. (Russia is evil for exposing evil.) This “hacking” supposedly swayed Americans to not vote for Hillary. However the U.S. president is appointed by the Electoral College, not by the popular vote.

Moreover if someone wants to influence our government, he only needs to bribe his chosen candidates like the rest of the oligarchs do. Why bother trying to influence voters, whose votes are irrelevant in any case?

A public stupid enough to believe in Russia-gate is stupid enough to believe that the U.S. government is “broke.”

That is, stupid enough to be enslaved.

  16. IF there were evidence it would have surfaced and the president or his associates would be indicted and tried in a US court.

Exactly. Two years in and zip. Unless you count all the evidence that has not been pursued - the Clinton emails, the Clinton Foundation and pay-to-play, fake news, etc.

The game is selective prosecution, trial held by the media.

Since pretty much everyone is dirty that is used to keep people in line. After NYS AG Eliot Spitzer announced he was going after Wall Street he was suddenly caught in a DC bordello (one of the same DC bordellos that lots of pols, lobbyists, CEOs, etc., frequent). Bingo: career (and investigation) over. If you're not dirty they plant some child porn on you or run some kind of bogus sting (like they did on UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter, who said there were no WMDs in Iraq).

Prosecution is a tool used to derail players who rock the boat. If you're with the program you're allowed to get away quite a bit (like Hillary).

  18. Well, it's all but confirmed now. Cohen claims Trump knew about the infamous Trump Tower meeting before it occurred. Would anyone like to bet money that there was no Trump-Russia conspiracy? I'd love to make some easy cash.

    That proves exactly what?

It is an established fact that the Clinton campaign hired GPS Fusion to dig up dirt on Trump's involvement in Russia, and the outcome was the dodgy dossier that has zero confirmation to date but is still being touted as "evidence."

Moreover, there seem to be enough actual evidence that Bill and Hill took millions out of Russia under dubious circumstances.

Just goes to show how dirty US politics is. And I would not even say, "has become." It's an American tradition.

We are just in the middle of another demo of it.
