Humeyra Pamuk — Turkey is a 'target of economic war', Erdogan says

Turkey joins Russia in declaring it is under US attack.
Erdogan said those who plotted against Turkey in a failed coup attempt in July 2016 were now trying to target the country through its economy, and pledged to fight back. He did not name any countries.
This is how WWIII starts. Leaders don't choose such words lightly.

The US now engaged in hybrid war with China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Turkey, and Venezuela. Did I forget anyone?

  2. Just another stubborn little tyrant clinging to power. Only question is how many Turkish citizens will lose their lives before he's removed from power.

US warring with itself? How's the internal rift likely to unfold?

It would be fun if the US attacks Turkey militarily while Turkey is a NATO member and has about 50 NATO nuclear weapons.

Who does NATO side with under common defense.

You must be relying on Western media.

Turkey just had a democratic election and Erdogan won re-election by a majority.

    Same with Russia and Putin.

DJT did not win a majority of US voters.

About the only option left is to kick Turkey out of NATO before it quits on its own.

  8. Turkey is no more a democracy than the US is. Perhaps their electoral system is superior?

Erdogan is an example of someone who believes himself to be indispensable. There's a straightforward way to deal with individuals like that.

Washington is not to blame for Turkey's economic and foreign policy incompetence. And you can't expect Europe to be friendly following the refugee crisis.
