Jimmy Dore - Tucker Carlson Destroys Amazon & Jeff Bezos' Business "Practices" w/Abby Martin
Crikey, even Tucker Carlson says this type of capitalism is unsustainable! Amazon employees earn such low money they are on food stamps and housing support, all subsidised by the tax payer, while Amazon doesn't pay any tax. Amazon and Wal-Mart push other companies out of business that do pay tax and better wages, but the journalists on the so called left in the MSM say nothing.
I believe Amazon and Walmart are quasi Federal Government enterprises since without government's money creation for reimbursing food stamp expenditure and housing benefit payment they'd be pushed into "normal" private sector operation.

ReplyDeleteWhoever thought Tucker Carlson would be the critical voice of reason?
ReplyDelete“Amazon employees earn such low money they are on food stamps and housing support, all subsidised by the tax payer…”
ReplyDeleteNothing is subsidized by taxpayers at the federal level, since the federal government does not run on tax revenue.
Regarding the video, Jimmy Dore correctly says that free markets do not exist, since rich people dictate the rules of the markets.
Jimmy Dore’s main point is that economics is not about mathematical necessity, but about political decisions.
(Utter morons like Franko claim that economics is about “science.”)
