What is so great about any man who inflicts physical harm on another? Boxing is not a sport; it’s mayhem. There is nothing noble about being the World Champion. Boxing should be outlawed. We treat dogs better.
Despite Mohammed Ali’s principled opposition against the Vietnam War, he was a mean man. How he treated Joe Frazier was a disgrace. Yet, Cassius Clay was my idol when I was 15 years old. Nonetheless, he said, “The man who views the world at 50 the same as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.”
