If only that were true.
Macron is an empty shirt, a little puppet of the Troika (i.e. of the ECB in Frankfurt, the European Commission in Brussels, and the IMF in Washington). The Troika can easily replace Macron. There is no shortage of people who are eager to take his place as Troika puppets.
“If the yellow vests continue eroding Macron’s authority, it's not just France that will suffer.”
A reduction in Troika tyranny will reduce (not increase) the suffering of French workers. (Der Spiegel has always been radically pro-EU).
“Many French people now see Macron's election to the presidency as something of an accident. Emmanuel Macron had no party, little experience, and lots of luck.”
The Troika installed their puppet, Macron, by rigging the election and colluding with the corporate media outlets, including Der Spiegel.
Macron is proud of his reforms. Rightly so. He believes these reforms will bring growth back to France. Rightly so.
That’s it. I clicked the article closed right there.
