Potholer54 - A CONSERVATIVE solution to global warming

An absolutely superb video.

I always thought that investing in green energy should be very profitable in the long run, so why were so many conservatives against it?

America could have been a world leader in green technology, and the West not so reliant on ME oil, but all squandered by the oil lobby. But surely green energy opens new and exciting investments for capitalists?

So, what about those people who say that there is nowhere to store green energy for times when it isn't sunny, or windy, so it is not feasible. Well, then invent the battery technology, says, Potholer. America is the land of innovation, he adds, so why are conservatives just throwing their hands up in the air saying it can't be done. The same goes for rare earth metals needed for solar energy, just invest to invent alternatives as the profits could be enormous.

These videos also expose the nonsense of libertarianism better than I've seen anywhere else. And Ben Shapiro, the darling of the American right, is shown to be an idiot.

I will have to send these videos over to Jason Goodman and Charles Ortel as they were saying last Sunday on their show etc that Al Gore had invented the climate change myth because he had invested in green energy. And these guys recon they're smart, as well?

Rather than cost companies more, the carbon tax in Australia actually saved companies money in the end and their profits rose.

It's called ASR, a hospital in Borneo that provides affordable health care to villages on the edge of a national park in return for a pledge not to cut down trees, The pledges are monitored, and the result is a dramatic decrease in deforestation rates and an increase in the health of the local population. The founders are hoping to spread the idea to other countries. (see https://psmag.com/social-justice/save... for an explanation of their work.)
