Is greed good? | Brian Eno, Izabella Kaminska, Guy Standing, Mark Littlewood

So, I'm not the only one who loves doing nothing. Well, not all the time, but often.

  2. “Do we need discontent to drive us to succeed and innovate?”

    Who is “we”?

Not everybody is innovative... the innovative are trained and competent...

    Fallacy of composition...

Why don’t these non innovative Art Degree moron people just leave the innovative alone?

LOL! calling them non innovative when innovation is what they’ve been doing most at their adult lives. That Art degree envy is driving you nuts making you write more and more stupid stuff each day.

  5. Finger painting isn’t innovating...

Cavemen were finger painting cave walls 1000s of years ago...

  6. I'm enjoying putting preservative on my shed and back fence, which I'm also repairing. And I'm upgrading my bicycle and trying wax on my chain instead of oil. I'm making my own wax formula with PTFE. This is nice - work is leasure!

  7. Kevin have you seen these new battery packs that can turn any bike into a e-bike?

Replace the front wheel hub and the battery mounts under the cross bar...

(For art degree morons it comes in several colors or you can probably custom paint it yourself)

  9. “Finger painting isn’t innovating...“

Not when you do it. That’s true.

“Cavemen were finger painting cave walls 1000s of years ago...“

Lol! So it’s the action of finger painting and not the motifs that is the invention in your mind.

That kind of analysis will disqualify a lot of inventions in the STEM field for sure.

Luckily it’s not non-inventing simple minded people like Matt and alike who has total say on these matters otherwise we would still live in caves.

  10. ”these new battery packs that can turn any bike into a e-bike?”

Not new. One has been able to order it from China for years.

Is this Matt’s pace keeping up with technology? With that speed we’re screwed.

    Otherwise the bike is normal...

I dont have a bike but might get one of these someday for short trips...

    Wear a helmet though!
