The blame game — Scott Sumner

Philippe Lemoine has a four part series• on how China handled the Covid-19 epidemic. It’s far and away the definitive account of this issue; no other article even comes close.
What's inability to take responsibility called? Immaturity?

The Money Illusion
The blame game
Scott Sumner | Ralph G. Hawtrey Chair of Monetary Policy at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University

• See Philippe Lemoine's blog. The series is now five part.

  2. ” but some lied at least as much as the Chinese government did. This is certainly true of the French government and of the US government. Astonishingly, people seem to be happy to focus on the shortcomings of China instead of holding their own governments to account for failing to prepare for the pandemic when the seriousness of the situation became apparent. ”

    Matt is of them.

  3. Right. Matt insists this is a scam perpetrated on the American people by other Americans.........that the Chineses need to pay 6 trillion dollars for.
Covers all bases in one fit of brain activity. It can’t be called thought because thoughts are more organized....it’s more flight of ideas.

You know, it would be nice if we had a statistically significant sample size of EEG records of MAGA followers (the kind who would willingly follow a narcissistic, homicidal megalomaniac over the proverbial cliff). I think it would explain explain a lot ;)

Greg they will use the “scam” argument in their defense.... lock it...

It doesn’t matter if China would say the us policy response was too excessive (political scam) ... the policy response happened and would not have happened if not for their virus...

Look at asbestos those people could have said they were saving lives by preventing fires... didn’t matter they had to pay the damages...

I’ll take a few $100k shares in their Smithfield Foods in compensation if the USTs run out....

For six months, Gov Cuomo & Mayor De Blasio refused to let NYC restaurants reopen for indoor dining, even though coronavirus cases had plummeted. At least 1,400 restaurants have shut their doors for good, and up to 80,000 more may close soon, taking thousands of jobs with them.

Plummeted because of lockdown, MAGA dummy.
