A man collected pebbles for 33 years to create the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval in France
The man-made wonder was built one stone at a time from thousands of pebbles that postman Joseph Ferdinand Cheval collected for 33 years.
My mother collected buttons for god knows how many years. The result was not nearly as impressive.
