False claims about vaccines has proliferated on the social network, and on other sites including Twitter and YouTube, says president
I've been a bit of a warrior on twitter in the past fighting the climate change deniers, the anti-vaxxers, and the covid conspiracists, and ended up getting blocked by a number of people. I've learnt, though, how to be far more diplomatic and how far I can push it. And I also got fed up with prolonged debates, so nowadays I just put a tweet out, say my bit, and that's it.
The populist left have so much in common with the populist right, who are both very influenced by the libertarian, James Corbett, someone who's views I don't get along with all that much, although the same things concern us. But ultimately, I believe governments can be a force for good, unlike Corbett, which is what the MMTers believe too, which is probably one of the reasons why I like it so much.
Joe Biden says social media platforms such as Facebook “are killing people” for allowing disinformation about coronavirus vaccines to be posted on its platform, as the administration continued criticising the company.
“They’re killing people. ... Look, the only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated. And they’re killing people,” the US president told reporters at the White House on Friday, when asked about disinformation and what his message was to social media platforms such as Facebook.

ReplyDeleteTucker Carlson and the rest of his ilk over at Fox are killing people, too, not that they care since since there are no consequences.
ReplyDeleteWhen asked whether he was vaccinated or not by reporter, Tucker Carlson refused to answer, calling such a question disrespectful and comparing it to if the reporter had asked him how he likes to pork his wife. In other words, the answer to the reporter's question is a definite yes!
The Biden administration is killing people around the world, too, not that they care since there are no consequences.
ReplyDeleteI haven't taken the vaccine since I'm not at risk of dying from Covid.
Nor is there evidence that being vaccinated precludes you from being a Typhoid Mary.
Get yourself vaccinated vaccinated for heaven's sake.
Deleteand the obvious: Just because the BA is killing people then i guess makes it ok for others too with their bullshit?
I'll give you this (i respect this), you're not like the a-holes at Fox, and that goes double for the orange turd, saying one thing and absolutely doing another.

ReplyDeleteBiden has blood on his hands, which make his pronouncements hypocritical.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a Facebook account, but I don't support censorship. YouTube, for example, has gone too far in silencing critics of the mass vaccination strategy.
As per voluntary vaccination drives, Americans and Canadians are allowed to decide for themselves. Until that changes, what is the issue here?
Hypocrite or not, Biden's pronouncements are saving lives.
ReplyDeleteThe pronouncements of hypocrites like Tucker Carlson et al are killing people. The network should have a disclaimer before their shows stating that they, the opinion hosts, are just play characters.
Sleepy Joe is complaining about Facebook not censoring their users. If he can't charge them with breaking the law, he should kindly STFU.
ReplyDeleteMany US states have opened up. Pandemic hysteria is over.
What you’re saying… it’s as if you beamed over here from another world.

If you're in a red state, or even a purple state, it's a parallel world.
ReplyDeleteOr if you're in Nova Scotia, where the pandemic has had a very light touch.
