Alex O'Connor - Why is Islam so Sensitive

Alex O'Connor (The Cosmic Skeptic) is a brave man, asking the questions that no one, especially liberals, want to answer.

Alex O'Connor is a philosophy PhD student.

Criticism and mockery of Islam and its prophet is often opposed on the grounds that God and his messenger are a sensitive issue for Muslims. True as this may be, it does not warrant an immunity from criticism -- or mockery -- especially given the demands that Islam makes upon us all.

  1. Fanatics are sensitive, Islam is an enduring religious belief.

  2. To put it in a more familiar context, imagine if any Catholic could speak to the faithful and be accepted as the pope.

  3. Why are Brits so sensitive?

French magazine Charlie Hebdo sparks outrage with a cartoon portraying Meghan Markle as George Floyd with the Queen kneeling on her neck

"CharlieHebdo, this is wrong on every level. The Queen as GeorgeFloyd 's murderer crushing Meghan's neck? Meghan saying she's unable to breathe? This doesn't push boundaries, make anyone laugh, or challenge #racism. It demeans the issues & causes offense, across the board," she wrote.

British activist group Black and Asian Lawyers For Justice called the publication "outrageous, disgusting, fascist racism" and said it was "pimping George Floyd trauma for profit."

  4. Send some English soccer fans to France and teach them a lesson. Such as, how to conduct a proper riot.

  5. Ahmed Fares equates verbal complain and literal murder in his comment here.
By the way, does anyone know why his video disappeared?
