Prioritizing booster shots in wealthier nations heightens the risk of Covid-19 variants emerging in nations with lower vaccination rates, the World Health Organization warned. "We're in a very unstable situation," WHO Special Envoy for Covid-19 David Nabarro told Bloomberg Television. "Please let's slow down, look at the world as a whole, and develop a response plan for the whole world and do it properly
Bloomberg - Booster Shots Raise Risk of More Variants, WHO Warns
Yo, you just posted another article the other day that said LACK of vax increases the probability of random chance copying errors…
ReplyDeleteLooking very generally but globally, the idea is to send those boosters to the third world. That is where we will most likely encounter the new mutations.
ReplyDeleteI'd be nice if we could also send the anti-vaxxers to the 3rd world as well... you know -- for a much neeeded reality check.
DeleteWell why don’t the turd world people just manufacture their own vaccines over there?
ReplyDeleteThe rich countries prevent poor countries from manufacturing vaccines by their unspeakable and disgusting trade, intellectual property etc treaties etc.
ReplyDeleteThere is no inconsistency with the earlier article - the title is somewhat misleading to grab attention. The idea is that the vaccines should be given first to those most in need of them - the completely unvaccinated.
No they don’t need to trade for the vax they can just manufacture them right there in their own turd world nation by themselves…. Internally…
ReplyDeleteWhy don’t the turd world nations just do that?
And, yet, ironically, you voted for a turd... twice!
DeleteIt is a great conundrum. Another serious Covid 19 mutation will eventually arrive on our shores. Too many of our own people won't vax. Too many in the 3rd world can't vax. And we certainly can't expect to vax the rest of the world.
ReplyDeleteThe more we vax here, the better off we will be. And thus the Mandate.
Wait till virus season starts in November
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of mandates is to divide society.
ReplyDeleteIf health officials believed vaccination was essential, they would make it compulsory.
