Addressing the pandemic is another area where different and often opposite opinions abound. All sides cite "expert" opinion and opposing "facts"
ReplyDeleteI have not been dealing with national politics but I keep up on it and the same applies in spades. Different worlds based on different world views. Of course, this applies to econ and finance, too.
Some of this is probably attributable to different ideologies, some to propaganda (cui bono?), some to stupidity...
A typical example is Biden's speech this morning about the "insurrection," followed by a flurry of posts in reaction about the supposed "insurrection" actually being a "false flag" by the Deep State. There is no arguing these positions with the people that hold them.

ReplyDeleteAmusing thread on Facebook where those arguing with him are as well. Net financial assets seem to have passed them by and its an argument about what is "money" but they don't it. Sad lack of precision on what they are talking about,
