  1. How long until Substack is forced underground?

Will they get ISPs to sniff out and block email traffic?

  2. Where's Bill heading with his latest blog ?

Lot of reflection going on there and Warren talking about values and the influence of culture ?

What's the punchline going to be at the end of the series?

  3. If it is.

I hope they just come right out and say it and not fudge it.

  4. Or don't give up look How far we have come.

As a self confessed social Libertarian. I don't know how Bill as remained so calm with what's been happening.

My personality I've got to let it out. I can't carry it around with me. Can't ignore it either.

  7. [Apologies. I am going to put this right here, because it's from a posting already a few days old. If Tom bjects, fine; he can do whatever he wants with it like delete it.]

S400: Lol! Poo-liberal lastcreek and nutcase Trumper Matt in a love meeting. So cute.
It’s always fun to see a pro war idiot like Matt try to take an anti war position.

And the falsetto Greek, well hypocrisy has reached new heights as he cheers for extreme right and nazis in Ukraine and their atrocities on civilians.

Matt Franko and I happen to agree on this, ma'am. We see the pathetic Putin for what he is: a capitalistic, neoliberal, land-grabbing fascist... and a pathetic one at that!

If Matt were to post, say, that the Pythagorean Theorem only applies to flat surfaces and not spherical, I would agree with him here as well. You see how it works?

It’s always fun to see a pro war idiot like Matt try to take an anti war position.

I'd call that a good start taking an anti-war position.

Actually, what's funny and idiotic, ma'am, is watching people like you wax poetically against the United States' past (and present) war crimes abroad (and I have never disagreed that they are indeed war crimes) and then blindly support the imperialist fascist Putin in his land grab of Ukraine's territory. That's funny... and idiotic.

And I'll say this of Franko. He puts his name behind each and every comment of his. So even though I mostly vehemently disagree with what he posts here, I do respect that of him, ma'am.

And the falsetto Greek, well hypocrisy has reached new heights as he cheers for extreme right and nazis in Ukraine and their atrocities on civilians.

Ma'am, you'll be happy to know that over 4 million "nazis," mostly women and children, have been displaced to neighbouring countries. Also, the city of Mariupol has been completely purified of "nazis." Of course, the city is totally destroyed, thousands dead, hundreds of thousands have fled -- but, hey, no more "nazis," and the purification of "Russian" lands can begin!

You do know, ma'am that Putin is best buddies with the anti-semite fascist Orban of Hungary, do you?

You do know, ma'am that the only reason the ex KGB thug Putin was chosen by Yeltsin was because he promised Yeltsin both security and no criminal prosecution of Yeltsin's crimes while in office, do you?

Ma'am, let's not kid ourselves here. You wouldn't know a Nazi if he were to goose-step right up to you and snap your Fruit of the Loom bra. [Ouch!]

Piece of friendly advice, ma'am: If your cup is only half full, you need a new bra :)

    Municipalité de Val-Morin

Historical report from the village I grew up in. It's in french, so might not be for everyone. Plenty of details I didn't know, despite having lived there for nearly 40 years.

    1. Northern Quebec is beautiful. Lots of lakes.

We have about 4 acres of land in Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs (adjacent to Saint-Sauveur 30 minute drive from Montreal). Keep saying we're going to build a cottage/home but other pressing priorities hold us back.

  9. I hope you don't consider the Laurentians to be a part of northern Quebec.

  10. As a born and raised montrealer, any place north off the island is northern Quebec.

Also, any place east of St Lawrence Street is New France.

  11. Spending a year in Ungava will teach you the meaning of true north :)
