Russia Struggles To Sell Its Oil After Ukraine Invasion — Tsvetana Paraskova

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russian cargoes have become toxic for most of the traders, insurers, and tanker owners, although the sanctions do not target energy exports. Some refiners and traders are uncertain how the bank credits would work; others are staying away to avoid reputational damage. The global oil market is starting to see disruption in Russian supply, which could send oil prices even higher than the current $104 a barrel as of early Tuesday....

  1. Well, on the Greek front: the evacuation of Greeks from Mariupolis and Odessa has begun.

    1. Mike,

I said from the start of the Russian invasion that the Greeks of Mariupolis are pro Russian. They also don't want war.

As for the neo-nazis, those fuckers are everywhere. Hell, we have them in Greece. At one time, a few years ago, they even managed to get themselves represented in the Greek parliament. How is that for fucked up? And don't forget, you got plenty of those shitheads in your backyard (thinking of the Auschwitz t-shirt guy in the Capitol and the Jews-will-not-replace fuckers, which , btw, your then-president refused to condemn).

Oh, and on the same page in the Greekcitytimes:

Greece exploiting Ukraine crisis to attack Turkey -- Turkish Defense Minister

You hear that, Mike? Just like the Russians felt threatened by Ukraine, the Turks feel threatened by an invasion from Greece? One of the largest NATO armies feels threatened.

      What a mess....

  4. Good one, Mike. I am putting in the links list for this morning.

Just about everything Biden said about Ukraine in the SOTU was untrue and he knows it was untrue because he was personally involved in it throughout.

The whole neo-Nazi thing at the bottom of this has been submerged intentionally.

    1. Neo-nazis are an embarrassment to just about every western country.

And, lest anyone here does not know, Zelensky is Jewish. This country that is full of neo-nazis elected a Jew as their president. LOL Tom, that would never happen in the United States. Never (well, not now). Ease up a bit on the neo-nazi routine.

And, Tom, when the Saker called out those "armchair generals" re. the Russian invasion, I don't think he's familiar with the term. "Armchair generals" call for war, not peace.

Did Biden bring up Grozny and how the Russians literally bombed the shit out that city? How many civilians did they kill -- quarter of a million or so? And what did the Chechens want again? Sorry, don't remember :(

  5. No bail for man accused of plotting to murder RCMP at Coutts border blockade

Coutts is the US border crossing in our peaceful province of Alberta, Canada. Apparently, these people belong to a group called Diagolon which operates out of Nova Scotia.

Lysak is charged with conspiring to murder RCMP officers, threatening an RCMP officer, mischief and a weapons offence.

If convicted, the conspiracy to murder charge comes with a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Members of Diagolon want to establish a white nationalist state through violence, according to Hofmann.

Two Diagolon patches were found on body armour seized by police during the execution of the Coutts search warrants.

So, basically nothing to do with vaccine mandates. I'm curious if Peter Pan has heard of this group because this is the first time I've heard of them.

  6. Check out Diagolon's flag. It's black with a white stripe through the middle. Here's a link with some pics:

  7. Okay, here's the explanation of the Diagolon flag:

MacKenzie came up with the idea of Diagolon, she said.

“It’s basically their idea of a nation state that starts in Alaska, moving through the western provinces, through the U.S., down to Florida, kind of creating a diagonal line,” Simons said.

  8. Now I feel stupid. Is Diagolon just a play on the word "diagonal" which would explain both the name and the flag? This from Urban Dictionary: Diagolon

A proposed nation composed of territory from former American States and Canadian Provinces, which when mapped, form a Diagonal line from Alaska to Florida.

The Nation was first proposed by Raging Dissident while he was high as a kite on edibles that "ain't shit". It has since gained traction with thousands of supporters, chiefly due to the increasingly aggressive behaviour of the authoritarian left. Many see it as an inevitable response to this aggression, and a promised land for those with traditional Western Republican values.

  9. Jeremy MacKenzie is a comedian. Just not a very good one.

  10. After the events in Ottawa, I'm not opposed to erasing the border between the US and Canada. Were two peas in a pod, culturally. The Canada I grew up in is gone for good.

    1. Keep the border but no customs for either Canadian or American citizens - come and go as they please

  11. Sure, keep the boundary. Surveyors need work too!
