  1. «If the hospital consultant had not written the letter he did.»

There is also the OPCW carefully wording their press release saying it is a “toxic chemical” (there are very many) with “same toxic properties of a nerve agent” (there are many), explicitly saying that it is a nerve agent; an d stating that there is indication that the two samples are related.

To me it all smells not of false-flag plan, but of a cockup by someone that was then turned into an opportunity to smear the russians with a series of bizarre conspiracy theories pushed by the Conservative Party government.

Sergei, known to be greedy, was dealing in controlled substances to make some money on the side, and Yulia was the courier delivering to him a shipment of fentanyl brought in from Russia, which they handled poorly. This would be one reason why the Skripals are “not available”: they are effectively in some kind of “dark” prison.

«but an FSB mole within Porton Down meant the russki could openly scupper the plot, all along DELIBERATELY peering into CCTV cameras»

My impression is that the two russian were really two random queer tourists on a foreign date who just happened to be in the area at the time, or if (less likely) they were involved, they were part of the gang with which Yulia was working.
They surely weren’t professional spooks on mission.

  5. There is no historical precedent
To put words in the mouth of the president
There's no such thing as a winnable war
    It's a lie we don't believe anymore
Mr. [Biden] says we will protect you
I don't subscribe to this point of view
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Russians love their children too

    We share the same biology
    Regardless of ideology
What might save us me and you
Is that the Russians love their children too

  6. I’m not taking sides I’m pointing out the hypocrisy (under-decide) of Johnstone…

I hope they both all kill each other…

You have the number 7 most corrupt nation attacking the number 4 most corrupt nation so who cares…

Number 4 most corrupt nation has compromised the current Democrat administration… see the hunter Biden hard drive from hell…

  9. She is anti war if it’s the us and pro war if it’s Russia…

So she is a manifest hypocrite on the war/antiwar issue…

  10. Caitlin Johnstone is not taking sides.

As a citizen of Australia, her antiwar stance would be expressed in Australia politically, and extend to the rest of the world, but only philosophically.

As a Canadian, I would vote to limit Canadian military action to Canadian soil. Vote Canada out of NATO. Any Canadian soldier participating in a foreign war of aggression would be deemed a foreign mercenary, and stripped of their citizenship.

I don't see it that way at all. CJ is a voice of reason. Moreover, she has an extraordinary grasp of the big picture on many levels, and most significantly, also from the spiritual level. Would that she were sitting in the seat of a media pundit like Rachel or Tucker. She gets it and expresses herself very well, articulating even details in the vernacular idiom.

She is against the neoliberal, neoimperial, neocolonial agenda not only because it is wrong morally (world domination through force is a legitimate goal?) but also because it is against the interests of all people, including the people in the countries behind this agenda or supporting it.

As a matter of fact, if the US had used its soft power coming out of WWII intelligently instead of squandering by focusing instead on hard power, the world would have been happy to follow the lead of the US because it would have meant a bigger pie. If the pie had been divided more or less evenly, the US would have seen a huge increase in soft power and could have dominated the agenda with support rather than opposition.

What was the problem? The paradoxes of liberalism that I have often set forth. Economic liberalism because dominant over social and political liberalism, which led to neoliberalism, neoimperialism, and neocolonialism.

It did not have to be this way and it could be fixed now if policy were changed.
