  1. Medvedev commented on the refusal by Washington that refused to supply long-range weapons to Kiev.

If Ukraine had hit Russian cities, the Russian Federation would have hit the "centers of criminal decision—making" - Medvedev.

"And some of them are not in Kiev at all," the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council added.

  2. Fortunately, the message could be delivered verbally rather than militarily. I suspect that this may be a result of the heads of American and Russian defense departments (Austin and Shoigu) and militaries (Gens. Milley and Gerasimov) talking behind the scenes, as they have been doing recently.

  5. What a lovely little trick the west pulls, say the Russian goal was to steam roll ukraine during their lunch break and then when it doesn't happen say, "see, disaster."

Now that cracks are appearing in the propaganda, looks to me like it's the west that needs a face saving measure, they started this thing, the Ukrainians foolishly followed along and now are paying the price (along with the rest of us literally paying higher prices). Add another one to Obama's list of failed initiatives. I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest the ukies won't "reconquer" Crimea lol (actually, conquer for the first time ever).

  6. It's been sick and barbaric and utterly disgusting Joe.

Western foreign policy always has been.

The difference for me is in the old days the US had some isolationists. Now they are a fully paid up member of the British imperialism club and foreign policy is modelled on the East India trading company.

Undermining Russia or China - is wrong for 2 reasons.

    1) It's bad asset allocation

    2) It's unsustainable <15% can't hold >85% of world population down; & shouldn't try even if they briefly could; it backfires, for reason #1)

They'll keep trying though and less than 15% of the world population will try and own and control the rest. It is insanity.

  7. I agree Footsoldier. Like John Mearsheimer said, the US lead Ukraine down the primrose path... and is now getting wrecked. It's just so senseless.
