Matt Stoller — Why Is Booz Allen Renting Us Back Our Own National Parks?
I've dealt (or tried to deal) with some of these permit applications at Recreation.gov. It's a pain in the ass, and hardly ever successful. Plenty of places I want to see, but just can't get to because of this gate keeeping.
